Gears of War 5 (or Gears 5) is Microsoft’s next installment to the beloved Gears of War series. Microsoft is giving players an all-out war with five thrilling modes and the deepest campaign yet. The campaign starts with the Swarm corrupting the Coalition’s robot army. Our new protagonist, Kait Diaz, is entangled in this new saga, filled with dark past and untold secrets.

In addition, the game will feature Boot Camp for those players who want to have a refresh on the mechanics of Gears 5, from the basic moves to advanced combat skills. There will be a three-player, high-stakes co-op mode called Escape, which involves outrunning the bomb, outsmarting the Swarm and escaping the Hive itself!

The Horde mode is a test of your squad’s survival skills using new hero abilities, including building defenses against waves of increasingly stronger enemies. Xbox profile is required. If you order the game prior to September 16, 2019, you will receive a bonus character pack. It contains Terminator Dark Fate, which features Sarah Connor and the T-800 from the movie.
